FAA Part 107 certified drone pilots

CourseIQ captures your course from above and turns the footage into graded video flyovers, animated overlays, and stills pulled from the same masters — the kind of motion-first content that sells memberships, fills tee sheets, and gives every golfer the perfect game plan. What we do

Aerial storytelling, hole by hole.

We bring drones, gimbals, and a deep love of the game to your course. The result: a complete library of visual assets your marketing team, members, and broadcasters will actually use.

Cinematic flyovers

Smooth tee-to-green flight paths shot in 4K, color-graded, and scored to music. Built for hero reels and social.

Motion graphics & edit

Animated yardage reveals, lower thirds, score-style bugs, and HUD elements tracked to the shot — edited timelines, not one-off posters.

Informative hole guides

Yardages, hazards, ideal lines, and elevation overlays — the perfect prep for tournaments, members, and your course app.

Marketing-ready stills

Stunning aerial photography for your website, brochures, ads, and GPS apps. Delivered in every format you need.

Course-wide content library

All 18 holes, plus signature views, clubhouse, and amenities — one shoot, a full year of content.

Video & motion

Graded footage and moving graphics — not only still frames.

Our default deliverable is edited video: stabilized flyovers, speed ramps, and overlays that animate on cue. Marketing stills and app plates are extracted from the same color grade so everything matches.

  • Picture lock flyovers — tee reveals, orbits, and hero beats cut to time for web, lobby screens, and tee-sheet loops.
  • Broadcast-style HUD — carries, hazards, and yardages keyed to camera movement, not flat JPEGs.
  • Codec handoffs — H.264 / HEVC for fast publishing, ProRes or high-bitrate masters when your team wants more room in post.
Process

From wheels-up to wheels-down in three steps.

  1. 01

    Plan

We map every hole, review your priorities, and schedule around your tee sheet, weather, and seasonal color.

  2. 02

    Capture

On-course in a single day. We fly tee-to-green flight paths, hero shots, and overheads — with zero disruption to play.

  3. 03

    Deliver

Graded video masters, motion-ready hole guides, GFX timelines, and stills from the same sessions — delivered in two weeks, ready to publish anywhere.

Video-grade still pulls — not clipart

The view from altitude, lit like Sunday coverage.

We fly the hole for motion, then build GFX that can animate — carries, hazards, elevation, green topology, wind callouts, and the strategy bar. Below are representative frames from full flyover edits; every overlay is authored to sit on graded footage, not a single static poster.

FAQ

Good questions, straight answers.

Will the drone disrupt play?

No. We fly early mornings, off-peak windows, or during scheduled maintenance days. Our pilots coordinate with your pro shop and stay well clear of golfers.

Are you licensed and insured?

Yes. Every CourseIQ pilot is FAA Part 107 certified and we carry $2M of liability insurance. Certificates of insurance are available on request.

How long does a course shoot take?

A full 18 typically takes one to two days depending on layout and weather. We always build in a backup window for ideal lighting.

What format do you deliver in?

MP4 for video (4K + social vertical/square), JPG and high-res TIFF for stills, plus app-ready exports for GolfLogix, 18Birdies, and your GPS provider of choice.

Do we own the footage?

You receive a perpetual license for all marketing, member, and tournament use. CourseIQ retains the right to feature select work in our portfolio.
